Sales Support Administrator
Due to our continued growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Sales Support Administrator to join our busy and highly motivated team on a permanent contract.
The Sales Support Administrator will play a key role in supporting TecQuipments sales team by ensuring the smooth administration of sales activities from initial enquiry through to order processing and after sales support. Contributing to the sales effort, the role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail and effective communication with internal teams, international partners and end users to develop and maintain strong working relationships.
Your main responsibilities will include:
1. Actively support the sales team to ensure efficient day to day operations.
2. Prepare and issue quotations for UK and international customers in a timely and efficient manner
3. Process sales order accurately and issue order acknowledgments and sales documentation
4. Manage and maintain the sales database, ensuring all customer interactions are accurately recorded to support forecasting
5. Track and progress sales enquiries ensuring timely follow up
6. Act as a key point of contact for customers and international partners by providing excellent customer service and responding to enquiries professionally and promptly
7. Support customers throughout the quotation/sales process, including status updates and basic product information
8. Monitoring order progress and proactively communicating updates to the sale team and customers.
9. Liaise with international partners to ensure they have the information required to support customers
10. Liaise closely with production, logistics, finance and engineering teams to ensure orders are fulfilled correctly and on schedule
11. Assist with export documentation and shipping requirements where applicable
12. Support sales forecasting by producing accurate reports and pipeline tracking
13. Review visit reports, follow up on actions and schedule appointments
14. Assist with sales presentations, on site customer visits and marketing materials as required

15. Location: Long Eaton, Nottinghamshire

17. Hours: 37 hours per week – 8.00am to 4.30pm Mon–Thurs (30 mins lunch), 8.00am to 1pm on Friday (no lunchbreak).
18. Contract: Permanent contract

Requirements
Essential
20. Proven experience in a sales support or customer service role
21. Strong administrative and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
22. Confident communicator with a professional telephone and email manner
23. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
24. Ability to manage multiple task and meet deadlines
25. Customer focused with a professional and friendly manner
26. Highly organised, proactive and methodical
27. Reliable team player who enjoys working cross-functionally and can also work independently
28. Adaptable and comfortable with handling complex queries
Desirable
29. Experience working in a manufacturing, engineering or technical environment
30. Familiarity with SAP Business One
31. Experience supporting international sales
32. Understanding of technical products or willingness to learn
