Overview
Circle Health Group has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Registered Nurse to join our friendly and motivated team working on the hospital wards. Full time role at 37.5 hours a week covering a flexible shift pattern.
Duties Of This Role
* Deliver high‑quality nursing care and lead on the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care for complex patients.
* Use advanced clinical knowledge to make timely and appropriate decisions, escalating where necessary.
* Administer medication safely and monitor patient response, ensuring adherence to NMC and local protocols.
* Delegate tasks appropriately, ensuring safe and effective workload management across the shift.
* Uphold a culture of safety by ensuring compliance with infection prevention, safeguarding, medicines management and risk reporting procedures.
* Act as a key contact for patients and their families, offering clinical updates, reassurance and information to support shared decision‑making.
* Liaise effectively with the multidisciplinary team to coordinate care and ensure smooth transitions between services.
Applicants Should Meet The Following Criteria
* Registered Nurse (Adult) with active NMC registration.
* Significant post‑registration experience in an acute or relevant clinical setting.
* Proven ability to lead, mentor and support a nursing team.
* Strong clinical decision‑making, problem‑solving and time‑management skills.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate and patient‑focused approach.
* Confidence in working independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
* Previous experience in a senior or supervisory nursing role desirable.
