Our client; a respected family-run Bodyshop based in Epsom, is seeking an Estimator / VDA to join their dedicated team. This position involves evaluating vehicle damage, providing accurate estimates, and collaborating closely with repair teams to ensure efficient and high-quality service. The ideal personnel will bring attention to detail and a passion for automotive repair, supporting the team in maintaining the Bodyshop's reputation for excellence.
Required Skills:
1. Proven experience or knowledge as a VDA or Estimator within the crash repair industry
2. Strong attention to detail and clear communication skills
3. Ability to accurately assess vehicle damage and prepare comprehensive estimates
4. Knowledge of automotive repair techniques, and estimating software
Nice to Have Skills:
5. Previous experience working as a Vehicle Damage Assessor or in a similar role
6. Familiarity with estimating tools and technology
7. Certification or training related to vehicle damage assessment or auto body repair
Preferred Education & Experience:
8. Automotive or related technical qualification preferred
9. At least 2 years of hands-on estimating experience or working in a Bodyshop customer service environment in a busy collision repair environment
Other Requirements:
10. On-site parking available
11. Monday to Friday working hours, 8 am to 5 pm—no weekends
12. Company staff car scheme and additional staff benefits
13. 22 days holiday plus a day off for your birthday; holiday entitlement increases with length of service
