The Digital Coordinator role at Murphy Applied Engineering is based in our Warrington office. This position is a key part of our applied engineering team, driving digital construction and engineering innovation across all sectors.
A day in the life of a Digital Coordinator
* Support the implementation of new Digital Engineering practices identified within the project scope.
* Help test, prove, and support the implementation of well‑governed initiatives with respect to authoring, collaboration, validation, and field technology/workflow.
* Support the adoption of the project Common Data Environment and workflows in line with the project information management plan.
* Collaborate with the GIS manager to establish and review the Project GIS Execution Plan, supported by the Digital Engineering team and project teams.
* Provide training and best‑practice sessions across the project, aligned with Murphy Digital Engineering practices.
* Act as the point of contact for related digital engineering support on the project.
* Manage and coordinate consultant, supplier, and sub‑contractor digital inputs to ensure compliance with the project BEP and deliverables.
* Review and advise on digital requirements in tenders, including writing tender GIS execution plans and CDE plans aligned with the EIR.
* Assess consultant and supplier GIS competency to ensure compliant digital deliverables.
* Perform technical reviews of consultant and supplier proposals against the project BEP.
* Ensure information management is supported through adoption of MIDP, model strategy, federated models, and compliance reviews of models.
* Shoot and share evidence of digital best practice within the project.
