RAC are on the lookout for an experienced Forecasting Analyst to join the team on a permanent basis.
As a Forecast Analyst, you will own and manage forecasting activity for our Sales & Service Contact Centre. You will develop and maintain complex forecasting and propensity to call models that accurately predict demand across inbound, outbound, digital and back office channels. Your insight will support performance delivery, cost management, resourcing decisions, and operational planning.

What you’ll do
7. Lead strategic forecasting across inbound, outbound, digital and back-office channels, maintaining accurate demand
8. Use key data sources (Marketing activity, customer behaviour, pricing and digital traffic) to deliver accurate long-term forecasts for volume, shrinkage and utilisation
9. Monitor trends and update forecasting models to reflect changes, identify risks, opportunities and required actions
10. Work closely with scheduling and real-time teams to support operational readiness and mitigate performance risks
11. Provide clear insight, variance analysis and performance commentary to inform operational, resourcing and financial decisions
What you’ll need
The ideal candidate will be a natural problem-solver who loves diving deep into data to uncover trends, patterns & opportunities. Strong communication and stakeholder management is essential.
You will also need:
12. A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a contact centre planning environment
13. Strong understanding of contact centre planning & forecasting mythology
14. Strong modelling capability, particularly in Excel, Linear, regression modelling skills
15. High numerical capability with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
16. Ability to build and present insight clearly to senior leaders
17. Ability to use SQL, Power Pivot and Power BI.
18. Highly motivated, proactive and able to deliver high quality outputs
