We’re on the lookout for an enthusiastic and proactive Desktop Support to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in maintaining and evolving our internal IT systems, integrating cutting-edge solutions, and delivering exceptional support to our employees. Whether it’s troubleshooting a technical issue, exploring innovative IT automation, or managing vendor relationships, you’ll be at the forefront of keeping our technology running seamlessly.

What does this role look like?
Reporting to the Head of IT, you’ll be responsible for:
Employee Support:
* Provide 1st and 2nd line IT support to employees across multiple sites.
* Triage and resolve IT queries, from filtering and distribution, to actioning support requests.
* Provide 1st and 2nd line support for CRM and other business-critical applications.
System & infrastructure Support
* Support and administer 365 infrastructure and applications
* Support and administer azure cloud infrastructure
* Support and administer user hardware and peripherals
* Liaise with third-party software providers to ensure support queries are investigated with agreed timeframes
The successful candidate will have:
Technical Skills:
* Experience supporting and administering 365 infrastructure and applications
* Experience supporting windows OS
* Experience supporting macOS and Android devices
Qualifications & Experience:
* A degree in Computer Science or a similar analytical/numerate subject.
* At least one year of experience in a technical support role, preferably within financial services.
* Experience improving business processes using technology solutions.
* CompTIA A+ Certified

Where will I be working?
We offer hybrid working, which includes 2 days in either the London or Whiteley office, with the remainder at home. We’re incredibly flexible about when and how you work: we don’t want anyone to be prevented from coming to work for Saltus as a result of the working pattern that they’re looking for. What benefits do I get when working for Saltus?
The salary is up to £35k depending on experience, alongside 25 days’ holiday (plus bank holidays), life assurance, income protection and a pension, alongside access to our flexible benefits platform. The role is 37.5 hours per week between the hours of 8.30-5.30pm.
