Role
We are seeking two enthusiastic and proactive IT Support Engineers to join our IT Services team at Wallingford and Lancaster. The successful candidate will have strong technical troubleshooting skills, a passion for technology, and a commitment to delivering excellent IT support across the organisation.
Responsibilities
* Provide 1st/2nd line technical support, and escalate where necessary, for the delivery of a stable IT service, helping to ensure that it is efficient, effective and can adapt to changing circumstances.
* Work to the service standards and processes defined by IT leadership.
* Comply with IT policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
* Act as an IT support contact for internal and external stakeholders, to provide 1st and 2nd line technical support to assist in the effective delivery of fixes, changes and projects.
* Involvement in end user aspects of multiple cross-functional initiatives and projects to ensure that business objectives are delivered in line with agreed targets.
Qualifications
* IT related qualification or relevant 1st/2nd line support experience.
* Experience of working in a technical environment.
* Ability to interact with all levels of UKCEH and explain complex concepts in simple terms.
* Strong problem solving skills.
* Excellent customer service skill, developed within a busy working environment.
