The opportunity:
We are seeking a Business Development Executive for our Christmas portfolio sales. This role involves channel partner selling through outreach and communication with the target market and lead list.
Location & Hours:
The role is initially fixed-term, starting in July (7 months) or August (6 months), on a part-time basis (20 hours), based at our HQ in Henham (CM22 6AA), a rural location. Lunch is provided daily, and ample parking is available.
What you will be doing:
Be an integral part of our Christmas team:
* Work with a list of target companies and sectors to drive sales of the Christmas portfolio within facilities management, property management, and cleaning sectors.
* Research using LinkedIn and the internet to identify decision-makers.
* Make cold calls and write persuasive outreach emails.
* Use the company CRM and keep notes up to date.
* Collaborate with colleagues in the Christmas, BD, and Sales teams to share knowledge and inform approaches for some Platinum and other clients.
Candidate requirements:
* Previous B2B Sales or telemarketing experience, proactive, team player, committed to excellent customer service.
* Good commercial understanding and ability to connect with senior people in large organizations.
* Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
* Organized, motivated, positive, professional, confident.
* Self-starter capable of researching companies, drawing conclusions, and crafting persuasive communications.
* Knowledge of facilities management sector is advantageous.
* Experience in tele-marketing, recruitment, or as a PA/Executive Assistant is desirable.
* Experience in a corporate setting demonstrating communication and people skills is desirable.
* Experience in a B2B sales role is desirable.
Salary: £13,168 (FTE £26,336)
Plus bonus up to £2,500 depending on GP.
