Car Park & Ancillary Director

Role Overview
The Car Park & Ancillary Director is responsible for delivering a revenue budget of over £140m per annum, primarily through Stansted’s own car parking products traded via Cavu, a MAG subsidiary. The Director will own this relationship and coordinate activities across trading and operations to maximize revenue across the car park estate. The role also covers onward travel relationships across rail, coach and private hire, and exploring new revenue streams for the airport. This senior leadership role sits in the Commercial team with exposure to commercial and operational functions across the airport.
Responsibilities
* Drive revenue growth and deliver the £140m revenue budget.
* Own and coordinate Car Park & Ancillary revenue strategy, trading and operations.
* Develop and maintain onward travel relationships (rail, coach, private hire) and identify new revenue streams.
* Lead commercial initiatives and embed a customer‑service mindset across the workforce.
* Partner with key stakeholders to drive tactical and transformational change.
Qualifications & Experience
* Senior leader with gravitas consistently driving EBITDA growth.
* Demonstrable depth of operational experience in aviation and/or commercial environments.
* Strong decision‑making track record and ability to apply broad business and financial skills.
* Experience growing commercial income with innovative solutions.
* Sound understanding of technology and information systems supporting car‑park and ancillary businesses.
* Ability to translate strategy into executable plans with clear milestones.
* Excellent negotiation skills with internal and external stakeholders.
* First‑class intellectual and analytical skills with the ability to analyze performance indicators and propose actions.
* Experience in demand‑based high‑volume 24/7 operations preferred.
