Location: Edinburgh office based with extensive travel.
Salary: £83,411 - £98,130
Hours: Full time
Working Pattern: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of your time, at our Edinburgh office.

As Engagement Director, you’ll lead a dedicated team of engagement specialists and work closely with EBCs, Advisers and Employers to shape and deliver our story to market. You’ll play a key role in developing innovative approaches that resonate across demographics, championing the customer voice and ensuring our communications stand out. This is a high-impact, market-facing role that offers the opportunity to influence business growth and make a real difference.
What you’ll be doing:
1. Develop and implement engagement strategies that align with client needs and business objectives
2. Lead and encourage a team of engagement specialists, ensuring activity supports strategic goals
3. Build positive relationships with EBCs, Advisers and Employers to drive advocacy and retention
4. Champion customer insight through focus groups and feedback to inform engagement activity
5. Maintain awareness of market trends, competitor offerings and regulatory frameworks
6. Promote a mentoring and development culture within the team

What you’ll need:
7. Shown experience leading end-to-end marketing and engagement campaigns within UK financial services with a confirmed understanding of FCA regulations and governance
8. Experience of UK workplace pension products and communications challenges. You're an accomplished communications professional with experience leading end-to-end marketing campaigns across all channels and platforms
9. As this is a market facing role, strong interpersonal and presentational skills are required across a variety of external facing scenarios including new business and client retention pitches
10. Experience leading and developing high-performing teams towards a common goal. You're confident in promoting a mentoring and development culture
