Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Reception Manager to oversee the daily operations of our front desk.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional guest services.
As the Reception Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that all aspects of the front desk run smoothly, providing a welcoming environment for guests while managing a dedicated team.
Responsibilities
* Oversee all front desk operations
* Lead and supervise reception and night team, providing training and support to ensure high standards of service
* Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance guest satisfaction and operational efficiency
* Manage guest services, addressing any issues or complaints promptly and professionally
* Monitor financial performance, including budgeting and cost control measures.
* Review and adjust room rates as appropriate
* Co-ordinate group enquiries, quotes and contracts
* Manage 3rd party OTA websites and extranets
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations as well as company policies
* Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and employee engagement
* Maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and local businesses to enhance service offerings
Qualifications
* Proven experience in hotel reception or a similar role within the hospitality industry
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
* Excellent guest service skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
* Exceptional organisational skills with attention to detail
* Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required by hotel demands

Pay: £28,000.00-£29,000.00 per year
