About Patrick
I’m a friendly, talkative guy with a great sense of humour, living in Gosport with my wife and Beagle. I’ve had a brain injury since 2016, following a road traffic accident, and now need support to live life fully. I enjoy karate, shopping, and good conversation.
The Role
You will support me with personal care, domestic tasks, and community outings. I use a Zimmer frame indoors and a wheelchair outdoors, so you should be confident supporting mobility and using a wheelchair-adapted vehicle (WAV). Activities include social outings, tea and cake, and holidays.
Requirements
* Driving my WAV: Yes
* Use your own car for training: Yes
* Experience: Supporting adults with emotional/behavioural needs, confident in behaviour management and de-escalation. Experience with brain injury or dementia is desirable.
Our Values
We are a Supportive team, acting with Integrity, being Client-Centred, focused on Quality, and maintaining a Positive attitude.
Interviews & Start Date
Interviews will be conducted as applications are received, likely via video call. The start date is ASAP, pending checks.
If you are patient, compassionate, and eager to make a difference, I encourage your application to help me stay active, independent, and connected to my interests.
Looking forward to meeting you,
Patrick
