As a Trustee, your responsibilities will include… Provide strategic support to ensure objectives are delivered in line with the vision Ensure operational plans, budgets and resources support organisational goals & public benefit Maintain compliance with charity law, company law, governance requirements and organisational policies Oversee organisational performance, financial stability, risk management and safeguarding arrangements Represent and promote the reputation, values and stakeholder interests Ensure management of conflicts of interest and employment responsibilities We’re looking for a Trustee with the following… Strong commitment to the charities mission, values and objectives Understand the trustee responsibilities, governance and decision making Strategic thinker with sound judgement, integrity & can challenge constructively Can work collaboratively, interpret performance info & contribute at board level Commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion, with time and dedication Experience in Digital &AI, HR & People Governance or Marketing & Communications is desirable The Trustee schedule will look like… Attendance at a one-day induction programme and willingness to undertake further training if required Attendance at quarterly board meetings (currently Wednesdays, 5.30pm to 7.30pm) Preparation for meetings, including reading papers in advance Possible attendance at Audit Committee or other sub-committees Attendance at one staff briefing per year Do you want to find out more about this Trustee role?
