Full-time Permanent Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and talented Building Services Manager to oversee various subcontractors involved in building services. The role includes managing contractor design portion (CDP) design development, site installation, and commissioning, ensuring all works are fully coordinated and delivered according to the contract programme, client requirements, and relevant technical and legislative standards.

About the role
Working within the Construction London & Home Counties division, your responsibilities will include:
1. Managing and setting targets for the delivery of building services design and installation within agreed timelines.
2. Ensuring the design and installation of M&E services are fully coordinated, buildable, cost-effective, and compliant with contractual obligations.
3. Providing necessary mechanical and electrical construction support, including managing service designs and their integration into the overall design.
4. Managing the building services design and installation process to meet project schedules.
5. Collaborating with project managers, design managers, and the commercial team, and supporting site management in coordinating M&E installations.
6. Assessing customer documentation and requirements, ensuring full integration into the Construction Operations Plan (COP) and installation.
7. Monitoring service design progress and managing information flow between subcontractors and consultants.
8. Upholding high standards of health and safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
Ideal Candidate
You should possess:
* Sound design and technical knowledge, including the latest technical and legislative regulations.
* Previous experience with a Tier 1 contractor across preconstruction, project delivery, and commissioning.
* A full understanding of detailed Building Services procedures and a high level of technical and professional expertise.
Qualifications
An understanding of construction techniques and a qualification such as an HNC (or equivalent). Ability to produce M&E design, installation, and commissioning programmes is essential.
