More Recruitment are working closely with a client who are seeking a skilled and dedicated Class 1 Drivers. The ideal candidates will be responsible for transporting/collecting goods safely and efficiently. The right candidate should be comfortable with Curtain sided deliveries, and general haulage. Pay rates: LTD - £18/ph PAYE - 16/ph Job requirements Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe working condition. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours worked and mileage driven. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues. You must have a UK licence with at least 2 years experience driving a Class 1 in the UK Assist in loading and unloading goods as required. Proven experience as a commercial driver or delivery driver is preferred. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety protocols.
