Primary Teaching Assistant (TA / SEN TA / 1:1 Support) – Flexible Work in Stoke
Vision for Education are currently recruiting Primary Teaching Assistants, SEN TAs, and 1:1 Support staff to work across a range of primary schools and nurseries in the Stoke-on-Trent area.
If you’ve supported children in a classroom or nursery setting and want flexible, consistent work with supportive schools, this is for you.
The Role
As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will:
1. Support the class teacher across EYFS, KS1, or KS2
2. Deliver 1:1 or small group interventions (including SEN support)
3. Help manage behaviour and keep pupils engaged in learning
4. Adapt tasks to suit different ability levels and learning needs
5. Create a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment

8. Long-term roles (including potential temp-to-perm)

Requirements
To be considered, you should:
13. Have experience working with children (school, nursery, or similar)
14. Be confident supporting behaviour and engagement
15. Have experience with SEN, 1:1, or intervention work (desirable but not essential)
16. Hold a DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to obtain one)
17. Be reliable, adaptable, and professional
