Role Description
This is a full-time position for an Ultrasonics Tutor / Invigilator.
The role involves delivering high-quality Ultrasonic Testing training sessions and assessments, supporting students through both theoretical and practical components of the program. Responsibilities include evaluating students’ progress, developing and updating training materials, coordinating with clients regarding certification requirements, and adhering to the company’s commitment to quality and flexibility.
Job Role: NDT tutor / Invigilator UT
Locations: Lavender International Rotherham Branch, AMP, and Penistone Branch.
Hours: Full time 37.5hrs per week predominantly Monday to Friday
Required competencies:
* Currently hold a PCN Level 2 qualification or above in UT (welds, castings and forgings) with 2+ years industrial experience
* Phased Array Level 2
* Demonstrate excellent communication skills
* Be prepared and willing to travel nationally and internationally when required to meet business demands.
* Possess computer literacy skills and be competent with Microsoft software packages
* Hold a UK driving licence.
* Be able to pass an enhanced DBS check.
Desirable skills:
* Hold PCN level 2 qualifications in other methods.
* Hold further qualifications in NDT methods.
* Experience in tutoring or mentoring.
