Overview
The Project and Business Support Analyst will assist with the delivery of change projects, ensuring a clear demonstration of outcomes and benefits. This will be achieved by engaging collaboratively with colleagues across the University, assessing current practice, identifying opportunities for improvement, analytical assessment, along with the design and implementation of future processes and ways of working.
The post holder will facilitate business and process improvement activities, identifying and documenting outcomes to improve service efficiencies and operational effectiveness for the student and user.
Responsibilities
* Present analysis and recommendations, both orally and in writing, communicating data and information effectively to a variety of audiences.
* Work with the Project Manager and Change Manager throughout all defined project phases, contributing to the development of deliverables as needed.
* Liaise with stakeholders at all levels across the university, ensuring their involvement in the project is defined and maintained, and that expectations are managed.
* There is an expectation to work both independently and lead on projects or parts of projects where required, and contribute as a team player.
* You will have an understanding of the project life cycle and the different phases associated with delivery.
* You will have a professional qualification in Business Analysis / Lean / Continuous Improvement / Change Management and experience of supporting projects, performing business process analysis, capturing requirements and recommendations.
* Working collaboratively, you will build good working relationships with stakeholders; with the ability to influence and relay complex information in an accessible way, utilising excellent communication skills.
