Job Description
Key Responsibilities for the MRO Buyer:
3. Engage indirect suppliers and internal functions to challenge and define requirements for indirect supplies and services to reduce and improve Total Acquisition Costs
4. Identify reliable suppliers and maintain a qualified vendor list for MRO goods and services
5. Develop and negotiate Supply Contracts defining requirements and terms of supply ensuring compliance with the business terms of purchase.
6. Place purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of MRO items to meet operational needs
7. Development and implementation of sourcing policies and processes to improve effectiveness of the indirect category.
8. Working with internal and external stakeholders alongside suppliers to provide continuous improvement and Strong cost saving with the business.
9. Develop strong relationships with key business stakeholders.
The Successful Applicant
The successful MRO Buyer should have:
10. A clear understanding on how to manage and qualify vendors in line with the business MRO Function.
11. The ability to positively engage with other departments for order confirmations.
12. Have strong data literacy skills.
13. Able to showcase strong interpersonal skills which will be required.
14. Ability to positively engage key stakeholders both externally and externally.
15. Strong PC Literacy and comfortable using Microsoft office.
