Location: Coventry Start Date: After February half term - 23/02/2026 Hours: Full-time or part-time (3 days per week) Contract: Temp to PermAre you passionate about supporting young people with additional needs and helping them develop greater independence? We're working with a specialist further education setting in Coventry that provides tailored support for learners with a range of SEND needs, and they are looking to welcome dedicated Learning Support Assistants to their team.
The RoleYou will be supporting students aged 16-25 with a variety of learning needs, including:
* Autism
* Communication and interaction needs
* Physical disabilities
* Complex learning needs
* Social, emotional, and behavioural challenges
Your responsibilities will include:
* Providing 1:1 and small-group support
* Assisting with personal care where required
* Helping students access learning and develop life skills
* Working collaboratively with tutors, therapists, and wider support teams
* Creating a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment
What We're Looking For
* Experience in SEND, care, or support work
* A calm, patient, and resilient approach
* A genuine passion for helping young people progress
* Willingness to support with personal care if needed
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
