One of our flagship contracts is with the Ministry of Defence at a major base near Watford – a complex, high-profile environment where we provide a full range of hard, soft, and technical FM services.
We're now seeking a Team Leader to manage a small team of Drivers to meet agreed SLA's enabling the delivery of a first – class customer experience.
Shifts Are:
Week 1 (Earlies 6am to 2.30pm Mon to Fri)
Week 2 (Days flexible start between 6 and 10am)
Week 3 (Lates 1.30pm to 10pm Mon to Thurs, Fri 12.30pm to 9pm)
You Will:
To effectively deliver MT services in accordance with both MoD and or civilian regulations and contractual requirements at all times
Will lead a team of drivers ensuring compliance and all legalities are met
To work within clear guidelines, policies, procedures and to SLA's
To demonstrate competence in the use of bespoke MoD Management Information Systems (MIS)
Will support and provide cover for the MT and Travel Supervisor ensuring operational requirements are met at all times
To maintain accurate data and efficient filing systems
To carry out any driving duties in a professional manner when required to support operational requirements
Will participate in an on-call service to ensure a fast response to emergencies
To promote and maintain the Skanska values
Any other reasonable requests as required by management
We Need:
Cat B Full Driving licence
Experience of face-to-face customer service within a busy customer focussed office environment
Competent in the use of Microsoft office to an intermediate level
Team Leading experience
Meticulously organised with excellent communication skills
Must be able to work unsupervised
Good team player with positive attitude
Ability to pass security clearance. In order to pass, the successful candidate will have been continually resident in the UK for the past 5 years
This role requires a minimum level of security clearance and may also require a higher level of National Security Vetting. You should be aware that certain levels of clearance or specific projects and/or sites have UK residency requirements; and any dual or multiple nationalities must be declared. Any persons who do not fulfil these residency requirements may be unable to obtain the required level of clearance and would not be eligible to undertake this role.
