Key Role Responsibilities
* Manage and grow a portfolio of public sector accounts across Scotland (e.g. local councils, NHS trusts, schools, universities).
* Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within the region.
* Develop trusted relationships with key stakeholders, becoming a strategic advisor for IT needs.
* Collaborate with technical teams to design solutions that address customer challenges.
* Consistently achieve and exceed sales and account growth targets.
* Maintain an accurate and up-to-date CRM pipeline.
* Stay informed on procurement frameworks, market trends, and competitor activity.
Key Attributes Required
* Proven experience in IT sales or account management, ideally within the public sector.
* Strong understanding of UK public sector procurement frameworks (e.g. CCS, Scotland Excel, NHS SBS).
* Excellent relationship-building skills across all levels, from operational contacts to executive decision-makers.
* Ambitious, target-driven mindset with a hunter mentality.
* Ability to articulate commercial value and create tailored solutions.
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively across the region.
