This role is offered by Crouch Waterfall, a subsidiary of Vulcain Engineering Group.

As part of the Vulcain family, Crouch Waterfall brings decades of specialist experience in Civil, Structural, and Geotechnical Engineering to a wide range of UK infrastructure projects. Crouch Waterfall specialise in core areas of Bridges, Rail, Infrastructure, Buildings and Geotechnical Services, designing and co-ordinating projects from conception to completion.


The Position: Project Support Coordinator

We’re at an exciting point of growth and improvement across the business, and we’re looking for a Project Support Coordinator to help us streamline how our projects run. You’ll work closely with engineers across a variety of projects, supporting invoicing, tracking progress, managing documentation, and helping keep the financial side on track. This new role will play an important part in shaping smoother processes, supporting our engineers, and helping the team focus more on technical delivery and client work.


Some of the main responsibilities of the Project Support Coordinator will include:

* Manage project documentation and support the maintenance of project programmes and schedules
* Coordinate project activity by organising tasks, information and updates so the team has what they need when they need it
* Support project invoicing and help ensure financial details are accurate and aligned
* Monitor project progress, including revenue, costs, WIP, risks and early warnings
* Follow up on outstanding payments and work with finance to confirm what has been received
* Coordinate contract review processes (NEC, ACE or bespoke) and share feedback with engineers
* Act as a link between engineers, admin and finance to keep communication clear and prevent anything slipping through the gaps


With ongoing investment in new tools and processes, the Project Support Coordinator will the chance to make a real impact - streamlining project activities, improving visibility and reporting, and giving our engineers the freedom to spend more time on engineering and client delivery.


Preferred Profile

Alongside a commitment to our values of engineering excellence, client satisfaction, and sustainability and innovation, we are also looking for individuals that can bring the following:

* Experience managing project documentation and coordinating project activities
* Background in project coordination, project support, or a similar role within construction, engineering, or another technical environment
* Comfortable handling project invoicing and following up on outstanding payments with clients or finance teams
* Familiarity with project controls such as planning, cost tracking, or financial monitoring
* Basic understanding of contracts (NEC, ACE or similar) is useful but not essential
* Able to work with teams across different locations, keep tasks moving, and adapt as new systems or processes are introduced
* Experience supporting organisations through system changes or process improvements (e.g., new CRM, finance or project tools)
* Fluent in English with permanent right to work in the UK
