The Holiday Inn Blackpool & Marco's New York Italian Restaurant, an IHG Hotel, opened in April 2024. This new four-star hotel is part of a regeneration project in Blackpool, including retail units and improved public transport, with a new tram terminal, located within the Talbot Gateway central business district. The hotel features 144 bedrooms, 3 meeting rooms, and the renowned Marco Pierre White New York Italian restaurant, with independent street access.

As a Sous Chef at The Holiday Inn Blackpool, you will play a key role in maintaining food & beverage standards while overseeing kitchen operations. You will ensure the preparation and presentation of dishes meet our high standards and manage the kitchen team. Your leadership will foster teamwork, ensure consistency, and optimize efficiency, contributing to the success of our dining services across breakfast, room service, conferences, Platform 9, and Marco’s New York Italian.

What you'll be doing...
* Supporting the Executive Head Chef by bringing creativity, precision, and passion to every dish.
* Managing daily kitchen operations to ensure smooth prep, cooking, and service.
* Leading, mentoring, and inspiring the kitchen team to foster a collaborative environment.
* Contributing to menu development with innovative ideas and seasonal ingredients.
* Monitoring inventory, overseeing ordering, and managing stock levels for seamless service.
* Maintaining high standards for food quality, presentation, and consistency.
* Upholding hygiene, safety, and cleanliness standards to ensure a safe working environment.
