We are recruiting Marketing Communications Manager to sit within the firm's Corporate Communications team. The Marketing Communications team is a central resource responsible for promoting and maintaining a strong brand profile in the marketplace. This is achieved by working directly with the partners and BD professionals within each office, sector and practice area, developing and implementing marketing initiatives in line with their business plans and objectives. This involves all media, both offline and digital.
Our standard working hours are 9.30am-5.30pm, however, we are happy to consider flexible working requests.
Candidate Overview:
We are looking for candidates who ideally hold the following skills and experience:
1. First rate project management, client care and supplier management skills.
2. Thorough knowledge of brand and visual identity best practice
3. Thorough knowledge of design, print production, thought leadership and campaign processes and best practice.
4. Knowledge of filming and video production
5. Management of the Pinsent Masons visual identity ensuring it's adhered to internally and externally, (by third parties – agencies, sponsors, media. Manage future phases/manifestations of the identity working with the Head of Corporate Communications, Marketing Communications team and The Design Bar as well as wider Business Development and business support teams. Working closely and collaboratively with the wider Communications teams to ensure there’s a co-ordinated communications strategy and that campaigns, press publications, e-communications and digital content adhere to the firm's visual identity.
6. Responsible for maintaining relationships with key suppliers on the Marketing Communications roster. Agencies such as Thirdlight (Brand Portal), iStock (imagery), Getty (videos), Fluid Branding (branded merchandise) etc. and championing supplier diversity for new suppliers. The Marketing Communications Manager is responsible for ensuring quality and service levels are maintained. Monitoring budget spend with each supplier and working with CPC to ensure compliance and contracts covered correctly and reporting this into the Marketing Communications Technology Manager and Head of Corporate Communications.
7. Project/account manager taking the lead role with partners and BD in devising effective campaign, thought leadership and project briefs, working closely with The Design Bar, ensuring projects are properly scoped, key aims and objectives are clearly defined and budgets and timescales are managed in conjunction with the Head of Digital Content. Additionally, he/she will be expected to contribute a high level of creative input to any marketing project or product while ensuring all creative solutions respect the brand and visual identity. Communicating across all of the teams within BD so other areas of the firm can learn and benefit from ideas implemented outside of their immediate team(s) respect the brand and visual identity. Qualifications:
8. Educated to HND or degree level.
