Llamau is seeking a compassionate and motivated Deputy Manager to help leads its new CIW Registered Children’s Home, developed in partnership with the Vale of Glamorgan Council. This is a chance to shape a trauma-informed, psychologically informed environment that places young people firmly at its centre.

Key responsibilities
1. Support the Registered Manager in leading and developing the Residential Childcare team
2. Ensure high standards of emotional, physical, and safeguarding care
3. Create and maintain a nurturing, homely environment
4. Oversee staff rotas, workforce planning, and regulatory compliance
5. Build effective relationships with multi-agency partners
6. Promote strengths-based, trauma-informed practice
7. Deputise for the Registered Manager and contribute to Llamau’s on-call rota
