Audit Assistant Manager – Preston
Salary: £44,000 - £52,000 (Dependent on Experience)

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys leading audits, mentoring junior staff, and building strong client relationships within a firm that values both technical excellence and work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Planning and leading audits from fieldwork through to completion
* Supervising and reviewing the work of junior team members
* Liaising with clients to ensure a smooth audit process
* Preparing audit reports and discussing findings with clients
* Identifying areas for process improvement and efficiency
* Supporting the development and training of junior staff
Skills & Experience:
* ACA/ACCA qualified
* Minimum of four years' experience in a UK Practice environment
* Strong technical knowledge of audit and accounting standards
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Ability to manage multiple engagements and meet deadlines
* Experience using audit software would be advantageous
