<div><p>London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust</p><h3>IEP Administrator</h3><p><b>The closing date is 02 June 2026</b></p><p>Oversee the day-to-day system administration of the Image Exchange Portal (IEP), ensuring its smooth and efficient operation for all users.</p><p>This includes providing comprehensive application guidance and user support, as well as troubleshooting and resolving any issues or problems that arise.</p><p>The role also involves managing the secure import and export of imaging data via external media, maintaining data integrity and compliance with relevant standards.</p><p>In addition, offer support to the PACS team when required, collaborating to ensure seamless imaging workflows and effective system performance across services.</p><h3>Main duties of the job</h3><ul><li>Communicate effectively with internal staff and external suppliers to ensure a seamless and efficient service</li><li>Provide information, guidance, and training to users to promote appropriate and optimal use of the IEP system</li><li>Clearly communicate complex information through multiple channels, including written documents, computer-based systems, telephone, face-to-face interactions, and reports</li><li>Monitor and coordinate the IEP worklist and email inbox, ensuring all requests are managed, prioritised, and processed in a timely and professional manner</li><li>Assist with the uploading and downloading of patient imaging between IEP and PACS, ensuring accuracy and compliance with protocols</li><li>Act as a local expert in word processing, databases, operating systems, radiology systems, and bespoke computer information systems</li><li>Provide first-line support for the IEP application within the Trust, troubleshooting issues and resolving user queries</li><li>Train system users to maximise both system functionality and user capability</li><li>Support the production of written and verbal reports on system performance and any technical issues</li><li>Deliver ad hoc training for new employees unfamiliar with IEP systems</li></ul><p><b>Please note the trust does not provide Visa/Sponsership</b></p><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Level 3 (or higher) NVQ qualification in a technical subject or equivalent experience</li><li>IT qualification or PACS course</li></ul><h3>Knowledge and experience</h3><ul><li>Competency in use of Microsoft operating systems and applications</li><li>Knowledge of PACS and RIS systems</li><li>Extensive Practical Theoretical knowledge of Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine (DICOM)</li></ul><h3>Disclosure and Barring Service Check</h3><p>This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.</p><p>London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust</p><p>£33,262 to £36,027 a year Inclusive of HCAS pro rata per annum</p></div>
