SEN Tutor Salary: £25 - £35 per hour Job Duties: Provide one-on-one tutoring sessions for students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) Create individualised learning plans based on students' needs and abilities Adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles Assess students' progress and provide feedback to parents and teachers Collaborate with educational professionals to ensure students' needs are being met Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Experience working with students with SEN Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to tailor teaching methods to individual student needs Education: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field Experience: At least 2 years of experience working as a SEN tutor or in a similar role Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of SEN curriculum and teaching strategies Ability to create engaging and effective lesson plans Strong problem-solving skills Patience and empathy when working with students with SEN Preferred Qualifications: Additional certifications in Special Educational Needs Experience using assistive technology in teaching Working Conditions: The position involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis.
