Join Our Team as a Grantham Maintenance Supervisor!

Are you ready to take your career to the next level? As the Grantham Maintenance Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Sawmill & Yard in Grantham, NH. Your expertise in maintenance and preventative planning will help us achieve outstanding production results while fostering a motivated and productive team environment.
In this dynamic position, you will:
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with the purchaser and Mill Manager to optimize purchasing and inventory control.
* Initiate the purchasing of consumable parts alongside the PM Parts Purchaser.
* Develop and maintain a user-friendly Preventive Maintenance program for all areas.
* Assign and perform electrical and mechanical PMs, coordinating with vendors as needed.
* Document and close PM work orders efficiently.
* Oversee maintenance of various systems, including:
o Sawmill Machinery
o Waste and dust collection systems
o Outside yard equipment
o Compressor PM and Service
o Dry Kilns at the Springfield Location
o Building Needs
* Enforce safety policies and maintain compliance with LOTO and Hot Work procedures.
* Utilize your troubleshooting skills on electrical systems up to 480 volts.
* Perform scheduled inspections, repairs, and programming of electrical equipment.
* Engage in problem-solving to identify and resolve production issues.
* Work a minimum of 20% off production hours each week.
* Support various organizational needs as required.
Safety First:
As a leader, you will enforce safety compliance, including:
* PPE usage
* LOTO and Hot Work permits
* Forklift safety and Fall Protection
* Accident investigations and return-to-work agreements
Qualifications & Requirements:
* Industrial electrical experience up to 480 volts, including controls and instrumentation.
* Hands-on experience with Variable Frequency Drives (VFD) and Pneumatics.
* Ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
* Strong troubleshooting skills in a production setting.
* Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
* Experience with CMMS systems is a plus.
* Knowledge of PLC Controls is preferred.
