Leadership tasks • Liaise with Warehouse Managers/ Team Leaders, and other departments to meet production and servicing needs. • Ensure a high service level is maintained • Attend daily team meetings and deliver reportable figures. Tasks • Prioritise all orders in collaboration with Warehouse Managers/Team Leaders. • Verify and finalise completed production orders. • Maintain organisation and ensure all production paperwork is accurate and up to date. • Develop production plans and servicing schedules based on customer demands and operational capabilities. • Provide accurate and timely updates regarding potential delays, delivery timelines, and quality issues. • Collect and analyse data on production performance and team efficiency. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date reports, ensuring full transparency for relevant stakeholders. • Provide cross-functional coverage for other roles in SCM job Area when necessary Resolve inventory queries and investigations. Carry out root cause analysis where required. Champion continuous improvement (Identify and action) Qualification • Secondary education with strong numeracy and computer literacy skills. • Prior experience in a manufacturing or production planning role preferred. • Detail-oriented, industrious, and capable of working under pressure. • Strong team player with effective communication and problem-solving skills. • Prior training or experience on SAP is preferred.
