Job Title: Family Time Co-ordinator Salary: £34,171 - £35,887 per annum 35 Hours per Week Location: Worcestershire Team: Family Time Team Permanent The Role: The Family Time team is an important part of the Children's Social Work Services in Worcestershire and our new model requires a robust, dynamic and proactive co-ordinator. This service enables the local authority to fulfil its duties and responsibilities to promote contact for children with their birth family. For some children the provision of a supervising facilitator is essential to ensure that time with family and friends is a safe and positive experience. The successful candidate will have excellent communication, organisation and co-ordination skills to lead the family time team in Worcestershire County Council. You will support a team of family time workers who are responsible for supervising contact between children and their families. You will be responsible for the allocation of work within the family time team and associated IT processes, screening and progressing referrals into the team, co-ordination of a duty system, supervision of Family time staff and feedback from children, their families and carers about their experience of the service. The smooth running of the team is key to the delivery of statutory duties to looked after children in the care of the Local Authority in promoting contact between children and their families.
