Role summary: DBD International is seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Project Planner to join our Mission Delivery capability. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the successful delivery of major programmes within the nuclear sector, supporting complex and high‑profile projects across Defence, Decommissioning and New Build environments.
What You Will Be Doing
* Developing, maintaining and managing integrated project schedules using Primavera P6
* Supporting project teams throughout project execution to ensure effective planning, monitoring and control of activities
* Producing and maintaining baseline schedules, progress updates, critical path analyses and forecast plans
* Identifying schedule risks, constraints and potential delivery impacts, supporting mitigation and recovery planning where required
* Supporting the coordination of project resources, workload planning and delivery priorities
* Preparing and consolidating project reports, milestone tracking, schedule analyses and project controls information
* Working collaboratively with project managers, engineers, commercial teams and clients to support successful project delivery
* Supporting planning activities across multiple projects within a complex and regulated environment
* Ensuring planning activities are delivered in line with company procedures, standards and client requirements
* Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across planning, scheduling and project controls activities
* Supporting bid and proposal activities, including development of schedules and delivery strategies where required
Formal qualifications or training
* Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant experience
* Strong experience in Project Planning, Project Scheduling or Project Controls
* Experience working within the Nuclear industry or another highly regulated sector
* Strong Primavera P6 scheduling experience
* Experience supporting complex, multi‑disciplinary projects
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Strong analytical, organisational and problem‑solving abilities
* Ability to work collaboratively within integrated project teams
