An exciting opportunity has arisen within the child health Occupational Therapy Service for a Band 7 Team Lead Occupational Therapist – 18.5 hours per week / 0.5wte. The post holder will work as a Highly Specialist Occupational Therapist with a responsibility for the day to day management of the Acute Children & Young People’s Occupational Therapy Team based in Tayside Children’s Hospital.

The Occupational Therapy Service provides a three tiered model of service delivery to support children and young people’s occupational performance. You will be based in Tayside Children’s Hospital, Dundee and will be required to work flexibly across NHS Tayside within in‑patient, outpatient, schools and community settings.


Responsibilities

* Day to day management of the Acute Children & Young People’s Occupational Therapy Team.
* Provide Highly Specialist Occupational Therapy services across in‑patient, outpatient, schools and community settings.
* Lead the team to develop and deliver services.


Qualifications

* Honours Degree / Diploma in Occupational Therapy.
* Relevant postgraduate training and experience.
* Excellent communication, leadership and team‑working skills.
* Experience in child health or acute settings is desirable.


Working Hours

Band 7 post: Part‑time, 18.5 hours / 0.5wte
