Are you keen to make a difference and deliver meaningful outcomes for our communities in East Sussex? Then come and work for the Employment and Skills Team. We are recruiting for a Senior Projects Officer to oversee employer engagement activity and coordinate the development, implementation and delivery of multiple projects alongside our partners.
The role of Senior Project Officer - Employability & Skills will support the work of the Skills and Employment East Sussex Sector Task groups (Engineering and Advanced Manufacturing, Construction, Creative, Cultural, Digital and Media, Visitor Economy, Health and Social Care and Land, Agricultural and Environmental), as well as the Apprenticeships East Sussex group and the Adult Learning Network. The role works with stakeholders, bringing together businesses and learning, skills and employment providers to address skills challenges and opportunities in our county's economy. The role oversees employer engagement activity to support the wider projects delivered by the team.
We are looking for:
* Someone who can communicate effectively with a wide range of people and stakeholders
* Has experience of developing, delivering and managing projects
* Has an awareness of, or experience working in the East Sussex employment and skills landscape
