We are looking for a passionate and strategic
Hotel Sales Leader to join us at Delta Hotels by Marriott Bexleyheath.
Our hotel is a well-established destination for business, leisure and events,
and we have exciting times ahead. With a fresh new brand identity and a
multimillion-pound refurbishment on the horizon, there has never been a better
moment to reintroduce ourselves to the market and lead the charge on growth.
This is a key leadership role – one where you
will shape the sales strategy, build long-lasting client relationships and
inspire your team to deliver their very best.
What the role involves
As Hotel Sales Leader, you will take
ownership of the sales function and be a visible and confident presence across
the business. You will work closely with key clients, internal stakeholders and
Marriott’s wider commercial teams to drive results and increase market share.
Your day-to-day will include:
* Managing a portfolio of corporate, group and
event accounts while identifying new revenue opportunities
* Strengthening existing client relationships
and creating new ones through sales calls, show rounds, networking, FAM
trips and trade events
* Collaborating with our Event Management team
to ensure smooth transitions and brilliant customer experiences
* Coaching and motivating your team to hit
targets and grow in confidence
* Keeping a close eye on the market and
competitor landscape to inform your strategy
* Representing Delta Hotels by Marriott
Bexleyheath in the local community to increase brand visibility and
partnerships
* Working closely with Marriott’s off-property
sales channels to align activity and avoid duplication
What we are looking for
You are commercially sharp, people-focused
and results-driven. You know how to lead with heart and clarity, and you have a
genuine passion for hospitality.
You will bring:
* A strong track record in hotel sales or a
similar commercial leadership role
* Confidence when managing clients, leading a
team and presenting opportunities
* A talent for coaching others and a hands-on
approach to leadership
* Commercial curiosity, attention to detail and
a calm, thoughtful manner
* A warm, people-oriented personality and a
positive, can-do attitude
