4. Identify and assess areas of risk within financial and operational processes.
5. Prepare detailed audit reports with actionable recommendations for management.
6. Collaborate with various departments to improve internal controls and processes.
7. Monitor and follow up on the implementation of audit recommendations.
8. Support the business in regulatory audits and external reviews as required.
9. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and best practices.
10. Provide training and guidance to junior team members to enhance their performance.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Internal Audit Manager should have:
11. A professional qualification in accounting or auditing, such as ACA, ACCA, or CIA.
12. Proven expertise in accounting and finance within the insurance industry.
13. Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and mitigate risks effectively.
14. Experience in preparing detailed audit reports and presenting findings to senior stakeholders.
