Job Title: Internal Account Manager\nLocation: Derby\nSalary: £25,000 + uncapped commission (OTE £3-5k)\nJob Type: Full-Time, Permanent\nHours: Monday to Friday, 08:45–17:15 (37.5 hours per week, 1-hour lunch)\nAre you ready to take the next step in your sales or customer service career? This is an ideal opportunity for someone with experience in sales, telesales, or customer service who wants to move into account management and develop long-term client relationships.\nThe Role – Internal Account Manager:\nAs an Internal Account Manager, you’ll manage a portfolio of over 300 active accounts, supporting clients with tailored workplace solutions.
You’ll build strong relationships, identify growth opportunities, and deliver excellent service.\nKey Responsibilities:\n * Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients\n * Identify and maximise upselling and cross-selling opportunities\n * Proactively generate new business opportunities via outbound calls and networking\n * Provide support and product advice via phone, email, and live chat\n * Collaborate with internal teams to ensure excellent customer experience\n * Keep CRM records updated with accurate client and sales information\n * Negotiate effectively to secure new and repeat business\nWhat We’re Looking For:\nEssential:\n * Minimum of 1 year in a sales, telesales, or customer service role\n * Confident and professional communication skills\n * Organised and motivated with strong time management\n * Comfortable working to targets and KPIs\n * Proficiency in Microsoft Office\n * Resilience and a positive attitude in a busy sales environment\nDesirable:\n * Previous experience managing accounts or working in B2B sales\n * Familiarity with CRM systems\n * A proven track record of exceeding targets\nWhy Apply?\nThis Internal Account Manager position is a great opportunity to join one of the UK’s largest providers of business supplies and services.
