Gas Engineer/Plumber Location: Site based typically around an hours radius of Basingstoke eg Southampton, Portsmouth, Gosport, Chichester, Reading, Slough, Oxford. Completing Gas safety checks and Certificating all works on the appropriate paperwork. Individuals will need to be comfortable undertaking all aspects of domestic gas work including testing. Plumbing experience is essential works will include, replacement and repair of toilets, baths, shower trays, basins, Installation and repair of Pipework, taps, ball valves, stop taps and other plumbing fittings, Repairs to watermain supplies, soil stacks and domestic drainage, rainwater systems, burst pipes, leaks, blockages, knowledge of repairs and servicing of wet room pumps beneficial Vented and Unvented experience desirable Working from job tickets or a handheld device daily The successful candidate must be able to provide evidence of qualifications or training held Trusted to manage your own day and workload effectively Always delivering an outstanding service to customers with the understanding that you are working in their homes Following Novus’ exemplary Health and Safety policies and standards Working at Height Required. This position will require a DBS check About You As a Gas Engineer you will need to hold a minimum of ACS, CKR1, CCN1, CENWAT/ CEN1, HTR1 & CPA1 Certifications as well as an NVQ in plumbing. You will need to be a confident driver with a Full UK driving licence as travel is involved with this position. What is equally as important is the ability to take responsibility to ensure tasks are completed and the willingness to work in and as a team to deliver a great service.
