NHS Scotland is committed to encouraging equality and diversity among our workforce. Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh, Edinburgh — Radiology Directorate — Band 5 Rotational Radiographer – 37 hours (36 hours as of April 2026). Permanent position.
Responsibilities
* Join the Radiology team in Main X‑ray and rotate in departments such as A&E, Portables, Inpatients, Outpatients, Orthopaedics, Fluoroscopy, PCO and Theatre.
* Develop and expand expertise across imaging modalities during rotation.
* Supervise and train Radiographers during induction, including Students and Assistant Practitioners.
* Work with state-of-the-art equipment and contribute to a high standard of patient care.
* Participate in days, evenings, nights and weekends on a 5/7 shift system.
Equipment
Equipment includes Philips, Samsung and Fuji X‑ray Rooms and Portable machines, Siemens, Philips and GE Image Intensifiers.
