Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (PWP) Apprenticeship
We are seeking a compassionate, enthusiastic individual with a background in mental health to join our PWP apprenticeship in Buckinghamshire Talking Therapies.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver evidence-based psychological therapies via telephone, online, digital platforms, or face‑to‑face, individually and in groups.
* Participate in weekly case management supervision, clinical skills supervision, and ongoing training.
* Progress through a structured learning pathway, demonstrating clear development in therapeutic practice.
Apprenticeship Schedule
* Module 1: 3 days a week in Oxford for teaching (apprenticeship days) and 2 days in person at your allocated office base in Buckinghamshire.
* After Module 1: 1 day of protected learning and 4 days of in‑service training per week.
Attendance Requirements
Attend 100% of the programme from October 2026 to October 2027. Annual leave cannot be taken on allocated programme days unless exceptional circumstances are discussed on an individual basis.
Qualifications & Skills
* Compassionate and team‑oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Experience in a mental health setting, having either personal or professional support for individuals with mental health challenges.
* High motivation and commitment to the academic requirements of the course; no concurrent educational programmes permitted.
