Job Description
3. Prepare and deliver accurate financial reports in line with company policies and regulations.
4. Support the annual Group audit, responding to auditor queries.
5. Prepare Group consolidation adjustments and consolidated balance sheets.
6. Prepare year-end statutory accounts for UK entities and support consolidated accounts.
7. Provide support on IFRS matters, including IFRS 16 leases.
8. Assist with cost accounting and forecasting alongside the Finance Business Partner.
9. Perform internal audit work to ensure strong balance sheet controls.
10. Support ad-hoc projects for the Group Reporting Director and CFO.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Reporting Accountant should have:
11. A professional qualification in accounting or finance (e.g. ACA, ACCA).
12. Strong audit experience, ideally Big 4 trained.
13. Proven experience preparing or auditing IFRS financial statements.
14. Detailed knowledge of IFRS 16.
15. Strong Excel and technical accounting skills.
16. Comfortable in a multinational environment, liaising with auditors and advisors.
17. Hands-on, proactive, resilient, and detail-focused.
