About Finance at THG
Finance at THG is a dynamic and evolving team covering accounts receivable, payable, treasury, tax, internal audit, and dedicated commercial teams for divisions like Beauty, Tech, Consumer, Health, and Brands. As THG expands, our finance team supports every step, thriving on change, adaptability, and resourcefulness, maintaining financial control and profitability.
Why be a Credit Controller at THG?
Reporting to the OTC Team Leader, the Credit Controller manages daily Credit Control of Sales Ledgers within THG. This cross-functional role supports OTC functions, ensuring timely completion of schedules and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Proactively manage weekly and monthly reporting for designated customer ledgers, including dashboards, new ledgers, credit limit reports, and stop-over reports, in collaboration with Senior Credit Controller.
2. Manage ledger activities daily and proactively.
3. Control order management workflows.
4. Address stop-over reports and escalate when necessary.
5. Collaborate with Sales Divisions to support key customers and maintain excellent relationships.
6. Complete audits as required.
7. Analyze workflows and suggest process improvements.
8. Provide excellent customer service.
9. Work towards team and individual targets.
10. Communicate effectively with team leaders and support when needed.
Qualifications & Skills:
* Proven credit control experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment or Shared Service Centre.
* IT literate, with intermediate MS Excel skills preferred.
* Knowledge of Sage or other ERP systems.
* Understanding of credit control practices.
* Confident communication via phone and email.
* Meticulous with attention to detail.
* Positive attitude and proactive approach.
* Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
