Job Type: Full-time, Temp to Perm
Hours: Tuesday to Saturday, 6:30am - 9:00pm
Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour

Overview
We are seeking a reliable and organised Sample Reception to join a fast‑paced laboratory environment. This role is ideal for someone who is detail‑focused, quality‑driven and able to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
* Receive, log and book in samples in line with standard operating procedures and quality requirements.
* Prepare samples for analysis, ensuring accuracy, traceability and compliance at all times.
* Arrange sample collections and dispatch, including posting sampling devices to clients when required.
* Provide assistance with off‑site sampling when needed.
* Support the maintenance of laboratory facilities, including working with maintenance and service engineers.
* Maintain a 5S approach to workplace organisation and cleanliness.
* Follow a right‑first‑time approach to ensure high data and sample handling accuracy.
