Role: Senior Controls Engineer
Location: Actemium Automation Nottingham - Main office (Ilkeston)
Hours: Full-Time, 37.5hrs per week, Flexible Hours
Salary Range: £50,000 to £60,000 (depending on experience)

About the role
As a Senior Controls Engineer, you will design, review, test, and commission control systems, ensuring customer needs are met with seamless integration and performance.
Main Responsibilities
1. Liaise directly with customers and internal design/management teams.
2. Design and test control systems according to specifications, standards, and legislative requirements.
3. Supervise system design, build, and installation teams.
4. Lead the commissioning of control systems at customer sites.
The Person
1. Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
2. Ability to understand and produce control system design documents.
3. Understanding of the technical project lifecycle.
4. Strong time management skills with a structured, methodical approach.
5. Good knowledge of industrial control software systems.
