The main purpose of this role will be to oversee the running and execution of the Reception and Reservations at 67 Pall Mall,
you will be responsible for the development of the team to allow for service excellence and to always exceed expectations.
To constantly drive the performance and profitability of your department, ensuring control over scheduling and rota
management, the training and development of your team to ensure excellent delivery, to have control over purchasing
within your department.
With the guidance of your Reception Manager, you will make sure procedures are followed in achieving the goals and
targets set in budgets by maximising Revenue, by maintaining as well as by building on the reputation of the club and by
ensuring that business objectives are accomplished.
This role is reliant on the working relationship within all departments of
the club.
Main Duties:
1. To be warm, approachable and efficient always to members, their guests and colleagues.
2. To connect and build rapport with members and their guests at every opportunity, especially meeting and greeting
new and regular guests by name.
3. To be a presence with all floors for members, with focus on the reception desk, the book and the cloakroom.
4. To supervise and ensure the smooth running of the shift, allocating team members to their duties and focus for that
shift.
5. Assisting in the training and development of new starters and team members.
6. Assisting in members profile training for Reception/Reservations staff.
7. To help implement and maintain the Clubs rules and standards.
8. Communicate members’ feedback/complaints to your HOD and assist in any follow up.
9. Liaise with the Membership and Events department regarding relevant members’ feedback, applications, and
queries.
10. Organise Rotas.
11. To oversee and implement the correct booking procedures and processes for all staff.
12. Help to oversee and guide the team on all reservations and confirmations of bookings.
13. To work with the Reservations department to update table plans on all booking outlets.
14. Keep the targets up to date.
