Job Description Summary
MUSC Health and Kershaw Medical Center are seeking a skilled and patient focused Advanced Practice Provider to support Endocrinology services. This role offers the opportunity to care for patients with complex endocrine disorders while working closely with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams to improve long-term health outcomes.
Position Highlights
* Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with endocrine disorders including diabetes, thyroid disease, adrenal and pituitary disorders, osteoporosis, and metabolic conditions
* Provide ongoing management and medication optimization for chronic endocrine conditions
* Educate patients and families on disease management, lifestyle modification, and treatment adherence
* Collaborate closely with endocrinologists, primary care providers, nursing staff, and care coordinators
* Support outpatient-focused endocrinology services with potential inpatient consultation support as needed
* Document care in Epic EHR and participate in quality improvement and care optimization initiatives
Required Qualifications
* Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant certification and licensure
* Prior experience in endocrinology or chronic disease management preferred
* Strong interest in endocrinology and long‑term patient care
* Commitment to high‑quality, patient‑centered care and collaborative practice
