Overview
We are seeking a Quality Engineer with a welding bias to provide local quality expertise. This role involves working collaboratively with cross‑functional teams to ensure compliance, continuous improvement, and delivery of high‑quality outcomes within a highly regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Represent Quality throughout all stages of design, project, trial and production activities.
* Provide technical and customer support to ensure deliverables meet required standards and targets.
* Lead inspection, calibration and reporting processes to maintain quality compliance.
* Conduct and contribute to technical and defect reviews, ensuring Quality is consistently represented.
* Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality capability.
* Uphold high standards in safety, security, environmental and quality performance.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Degree (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering discipline.
* IIW/EWF Welding Engineer or Technologist grade (International Certification in Welding).
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in Engineering or Quality Engineering.
* Competent in MS Office, data interpretation and report preparation.
* Knowledge of ISO 9001/14001/45001 and AQAP 2110 (desirable).
* Lead Auditor or IOSH Managing Safely certification (training can be provided).
* Strong communication skills with the ability to engage internal and external stakeholders effectively.
