Role Overview
We are recruiting an experienced Delivery Driver with a valid 7.5T or higher class licence. The role involves delivering event equipment to venues across the UK and abroad, ensuring timely and secure transport.
You must be confident operating larger vehicles, have strong logistical awareness, and demonstrated experience driving internationally. A flexible schedule and a professional, client-facing attitude are essential.
Key Responsibilities
• Drive 7.5T or higher class vehicles to deliver and collect event equipment
• Load and unload gear safely and efficiently, adhering to securing protocols
• Ensure all transport documentation and customs paperwork is completed correctly
• Conduct vehicle checks before and after trips, reporting any faults
• Maintain cleanliness and roadworthiness of assigned vehicles
• Assist with basic setup or positioning of equipment on-site where required
• Communicate with dispatch and on-site contacts to ensure smooth delivery
• Be available for UK and overseas travel, including overnight stays and weekends
Requirements
• Valid UK driving licence with 7.5T (C1) or higher category (e.g. Class 2/C, Class 1/CE)
• Driver CPC qualification and valid Tachograph card
• Experience delivering equipment internationally is essential
• Valid passport and ability to travel across Europe and further afield
• Physically fit and able to handle loading/unloading tasks
• Good communication and time management skills
• Flexible with working hours — including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and last-minute trips
Desirable
• Forklift license or other mechanical handling equipment certifications
• Knowledge of international shipping or customs processes
• Previous work in live events, staging, or AV industry
• Experience with route planning and vehicle maintenance
