Job Title: Cover Supervisor

Salary: £460 – £650 per week

GSL Education are seeking confident and reliable Cover Supervisors to work in a number of secondary schools in Worksop, supporting classroom learning and ensuring continuity of education during teacher absence.

About the Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise classes in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring students remain on task and complete pre-set work. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals considering a career in education or those with experience working with young people in any capacity.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise classes during teacher absence across KS3 and KS4
* Ensure students complete set work and remain focused
* Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
* Maintain a safe, structured and supportive learning environment
* Support student engagement across a range of subjects
* Report any issues or concerns to relevant school staff
* Follow lesson plans provided by teaching staff
Requirements:
* Experience working with young people (schools, coaching, youth work or similar)
* Strong communication and behaviour management skills
* Confident, adaptable and professional approach
* Ability to build rapport with secondary-aged students
* Reliable and consistent availability
